I really enjoyed all the discussion today. I think I am slowly synthesizing the information. Lois' presentation was fun and I can think of so many ways i can adapt it to my class.

Marlene, are you willing to say a little about what you specifically were drawn to in the discussion today? I'd be interested.

I also agree that Lois' presentation was fun. Both activities allowed students to write and enjoy the experience.

I agree with Sherrie, Marlene. I have found that after only 3 days, when you talk, I want to listen. I was a bit torn by some of today's discussion; I would like to know a bit more about what you thought. I think it would fertilize some of my own thoughts and help them grow....

I'm with you. but I felt a bit angry by some of the realizations Don opened by eyes to.

Angry? What about, Chris?

I liked how the activity allowed me to fail in a private way. No one called on me to read what I had written. After roaming the room and reading the papers, I was able to see what I had missed. Having the individual quotes to read helped to strengthen the connections. It encourages me to keep trying. I also think that by seeing all of the responses I knew I wasn't the only one who didn't quite get it. This makes me more willing to take the risk again.
